HELP US RESCUE HOMELESS CHILDREN OFF THE STREETS AND GIVE THEM A NEW START!

Hundreds of poor, orphaned, and abandoned children fill our streets in search of food, shelter, and help. Many parents die of AIDS, pneumonia, and malaria each year leaving behind so many orphans without hope.

Living in very poor conditions, these hurting and suffering children resort to living on the streets looking for food, and many times they end up becoming thieves and prostitutes. Girls are taken advantage of by men promising them money and food. Many become pregnant and mothers at a very tender age. This tragic cycle has repeated and increased over the years.

Many children do not attend school since there is no one to pay their school fees. Other children are forced into hard labor so they can get something to eat.

With little or no nourishment and unclean drinking water, many children die of diseases and hunger. House of Hope offers hope to vulnerable children by providing a place to call home, where they are loved and raised into future responsible leaders.

Currently, House of Hope is home to about 40 children who are very excited to have a place to call home where they are given shelter, education, love, food, clothes, medical attention, and above all, they are taught the Word of God. A loving house-mother takes good care of them.

Our monthly budget to run Kabale House of Hope is $3,365 USD. Would you please prayerfully consider providing support to keep our children’s home running?

There are still too many homeless children in our community and on the streets who need what House of Hope offers. We need your prayers and support to help these children in need. Thank you!

House of Hope Transitional Home

House of Hope currently provides a home for 35 precious children. Most of these are either orphaned, homeless, abandoned or from very poor families with a grandmother or single mother that cannot provide food and other needs. House of Hope provides food, shelter, education, clothes, and medical care.

However, 8 boys that are living in the orphanage are in danger of losing their housing because of their age. The government of Uganda is requiring that any youth age 18 and up move out of the orphanage due to their age. If this were to happen to these 3 young men it would be very difficult for them to continue going to school. They have monthly support for now, but would need more support for housing.

New Life Christian Church, in California came up with an idea to start a Transitional Home where boys over 18 can live while they finish up with their education before they are able to get a job and move on with their lives. In addition to the 8 boys from House of Hope orphanage, a young man, Eric Niwamanya, who was recently rescued from the street, and the home leader, John Twesigye, live in the House of Hope Transitional Home.

$1000 is needed monthly to pay the rent, food, utilities and vocational college education.
